Founder. For good reasons

Franz Dahlheim has been connected to animals since childhood. However, exotic birds were his passion. The will to offer his parrots more has always been firmly anchored. A trip to Australia let the knot burst. Because at Down Under (Australian Bush) he saw what parrots really ate. The comparison with commercially available feed showed frightening deficits that occupied him every day from now on.

Social Media. The Breakthrough.

In 2020 Franz Dahlheim began to present his passion to the public. best place for this? Social Media. Within a year and a half, the “Your Parrot” channel has become the largest in Europe when it comes to exotic birds. Millions of people were fascinated by the diversity of parrots and began to switch to a healthier alternative to feeding and keeping their birds.

THE BEGINNING OF A

Driven by curiosity, an urge to explore and a love of animals, I decided in 2005 to breed exotic birds professionally to support their wild endangered relatives. Starting with the world-famous budgerigars, through to parrot species that were rarely kept at the time, I finally discovered the world of birds for myself.

THE BIRD'S

A few years later, after traveling the continent of Australia for months observing parrots & parakeets and studying their diet, I realized one thing. The countless seed mixtures that we feed do not really match the original composition of the diet of many birds.

TIME FOR

Dry seed mixes alone are not a solution. In order to provide birds with the best possible care, a wide range of vitamins and minerals are required, which must be added on a daily basis. Since hardly anyone knows this and it’s not exactly easy to supplement the range of vitamins, minerals & amino acids in the exact amount, I had to do something…

THE MOMENT OF

There was only one more hurdle to overcome… a taste test of our and many other parrots. The first bowl (and every other bowl since then) was happily eaten. Best of all, the sheen of the feathers is stunning & looking after the food shows balanced parrots. A practical side effect for the owner: 100% feed conversion with no leftovers and hardly any waste.
